Our favourite photographer — Nicole Reed from A Shot Away

Whenever we need ANY photography done we call on our good friend Nicole Reed from A Shot Away whose portfolio and experience range far and wide. Go for a brief look at her website and you’ll be there for a lot longer drawn in by her captivating images.

Melbourne-based Nicole Reed proclaims that, for her, photography is more than just a career – it’s her reason for living. Rarely leaving the house, never mind the country, without her camera, Nicole is proud to have been bitten by the travel bug and searches for the muse of her next frame around every corner. While her work is undoubtedly artistic, Nicole draws inspiration from magazines, documentary and reportage photography, favouring people as her subjects.

Nicole has exhibited in four solo shows in Melbourne and Brisbane. Along with the publication T-world Journal Nicole has had a show on Cockatoo Island in Sydney as part of the 2012 Outpost Project which included 40 portraits printed at over 2 metres high. Nicole has also just recently had an exhibition of portraits at the National Gallery Of Victoria Studio which was included in the TEES project.
