For a second time, Uber and Hot Black came together to design their Adelaide Driver Support Centre and Office. Hot Black ensured that the pre-set global standards were adhered to, yet still injected the local ‘flavour’ and surrounding area. Hot Black took inspiration from Adelaide’s renowned wineries and vineyards, reflecting this theme in the breakout and office area. Meeting rooms were also named after some of Adelaide’s most iconic locations, a symbolic nod to ‘arriving at your destination’. In addition to this, Hot Black also embraced the industrial feel of the building by using raw and simple materials such as brick, oriented strand board and polished concrete.
