Melbourne InDesign Pop Up

Working in collaboration with DKO Architects, we were appointed to design & install a temporary pop up installation at the Cafe Culture + Insitu furniture showroom for Melbourne’s In Design Event in August.

The theme for 2014 was ‘Inception’, where we employed the idea of ‘deconstruction’ as a pivotal element of the design process. Part of our brief was also to ensure that making the trip from the heart of the event in the CBD to Collingwood in Melbourne’s inner north would be worthwhile for those in attendance. ┬áTactile materials in our installation formed an experiential display, which provided our visitors with plenty of scope to immerse themselves in our interpretation of design inception & deconstruction.
